US Military GI Issue Canteen Cover 1qt, NSN # 8465-00-860-0266

In the 1960s, nylon fabric replaced the traditional cotton duck/canvas for the construction of most of the U.S. Soldier's individual equipment.  By 1967, the U.S. military one quart plastic canteen was issued with this new nylon cover, that attached to the utility belt, pack or other attachment point with ALICE clips.  The nylon cover is sized to accommodate the plastic water canteen with nested metal canteen cup. The 2 ALICE clips can be affixed to the back with a webbing patch.  The nylon canteen covers have a small flap pocket on side, with velcro closure, intended to hold a bottle of water purification tablets.  A one-inch hole in this cross-flap cover bottom, with a stitched edge like a large button hole.  This hole is used for water distribution. The hole in the cover bottom would fit onto the neck of a canteen as a funnel, reducing the waste of water during filling from water trailers or jerry cans.

This genuine US military issue canteen cover is made of cordura nylon, with U.S. imprint in black.  Comes with a small pouch on side and ALICE keeper clips.  The 2 front snap closure stretches over canteen securely hold in place.

ORDERING

All orders are processed when they are received.  All orders are considered as rush orders and are delivered at first place subject to availability.  

Any change in the order must be made within 24 hours of placement of the original order.  Orders that have already shipped out cannot be revised.

PAYMENT

Trading currency is in Australian Dollors only. 

All orders are due on invoiced, i.e. payment is cleared and/or authorised by the bank prior to order delivery.  Order will be automatically cancelled without notice when accrued payment is not received within 5 days after placing the order or prior to delivery in terms which is earlier.

SHIPPING

-      All orders received before 2pm with cleared payment will be dispatched on the same working day; whereas the following working day.

-      Postage quoted is to be sent by registered mail inclusive of insurance (within OZ), generally. FREE postage is offered for order value over A$200.

WARRANTY & RETURN

-         FUSION GEAR endeavours to have replacement without charges in case where the goods arrive non-functional to the Buyer.  The Buyer is obliged to notify FUSION GEAR of the intended replacement at first place.  Fusion Gear will send the replacement to the Buyer within 7 days upon receipt of the faulty goods returned in good order that are not exhibited damage or non-functional as a result of use, which means no scratches, dents, chips, cracks or missing components.  The Buyer shall ensure all items returned appropriately packed with original package in whole including all original components and accessories if any.
