Smith’s new “Pocket Pal” Multi-Functional Knife Sharpener features pre-set crossed carbides and ceramic stones, which provide the “Perfect Edge” every time.  Carbides provide quick edge setting, and the specially shaped ceramic stones are designed to give you a razor sharp edge on either standard or serrated edges.  The carbide and ceramic stones are reversible and replaceable.  A fold out, tapered round, diamond coated rod is designed for sharpening serrated as well as standard edges.  Unit is compact, lightweight, durable, and comes with a lanyard hole.

Above all, this lightweight, portable, and easy-to-use Pocket Pal knife sharpener from Smith's, features carbide heads and fine ceramic stones to quickly set and finish the edge on your blade. 

Ceramic Stones - Finish the edge. Ceramic stones provide a smooth, polished edge for already sharp knives and can be used on serrated or standard blades and are reversible and replaceable.

Abrasive:
Tapered Round Rod / Medium Diamond - 400 Grit
Pull Thru / Coarse Ceramic -600 Grit

Using Tips
V-Shaped Sharpening Slots:
 1. Insert knife blade into the V-shaped slots at a 90-degree angle to the sharpening blades or stones.
 2. Pull the knife blade straight back towards you while applying light pressure.
 3. Repeat this action until blade is sharp.

Tapered Diamond Rod / Flat Edges:
 1. Always hold the unit with the rod facing down. Place heel of the blade on the diamond rod closest to the unit.
 2. Hold blade at a 23 degree angle to the rod.
 3. While applying light pressure, push the knife away from you towards the end of the rod. Draw knife down so that the tip of the blade comes off the end of the rod. Repeat this action until blade is sharp.
 4. For the other side of the blade, you will need to switch hands holding the sharpener and the knife and repeat steps 1 - 3.

Tapered Diamond Rod / Serrated Edges:
 1. Only sharpen the side of your knife edge with the serrations.
 2. Hold rod at 23 degree angle to the blade and move it back and forth through each serration until sharp.

Daily Care Tips
Always clean your sharpener with a damp cloth after use and towel dry. Do NOT rinse with water.

ORDERING

All orders are processed when they are received.  All orders are considered as rush orders and are delivered at first place subject to availability.  

Any change in the order must be made within 24 hours of placement of the original order.  Orders that have already shipped out cannot be revised.

PAYMENT

Trading currency is in Australian Dollors only. 

All orders are due on invoiced, i.e. payment is cleared and/or authorised by the bank prior to order delivery.  Order will be automatically cancelled without notice when accrued payment is not received within 5 days after placing the order or prior to delivery in terms which is earlier.

Payment shall be made by any of following means unless specified.

-         bank transfers/direct deposit

SHIPPING

-      All orders received before 2pm with cleared payment will be dispatched on the same working day; whereas the following working day.

-      Postage quoted is to be sent by registered mail inclusive of insurance (within OZ), generally. FREE postage is offered for order value over A$200.

WARRANTY & RETURN

-         FUSION GEAR endeavours to have replacement without charges in case where the goods arrive non-functional to the Buyer.  The Buyer is obliged to notify FUSION GEAR of the intended replacement at first place.  Fusion Gear will send the replacement to the Buyer within 7 days upon receipt of the faulty goods returned in good order that are not exhibited damage or non-functional as a result of use, which means no scratches, dents, chips, cracks or missing components.  The Buyer shall ensure all items returned appropriately packed with original package in whole including all original components and accessories if any.
